The Editor’s Message

This is a virtual library I created to share with people of the community about knowledge and resources that I have come across, by either research or experience, and believe, that by my sharing, I may be of some help, comfort, mentor, friend, teacher, assistant, inspiration, encouragement I am commissioned by God to be in your life.  I will not use your time to explain to you my shortcomings or failings, for I rather to share with you, the stories that will help you become most God oriented, positive, focused, and laser sharpeyed on your expected outcome.

I am very interested in history, particularly that of Black, pre-post civil war,  and current, and the arts, particularly poetry, politics, since before Obama (like Clinton), educational programs and opportunities, and building the community, fostering partner relationships, seeking to be of assistance for anything possible, and growing in God of course.

Please do not be offended at anything I post, as my intentions are not to harm you in anyway, only to motivate inform, educate, and enlighten you, as you are the partaker of your fundamental truths, and the survivor to your consequences, as one travels their own road through life; my wish to be no obscurement, or hinderance or negative influence towards any attempts and learning experiences you may endeavor upon.

If you are ready to spend your free time,  educating your mind, and leaving junk behind, by embracing a forum that is guaranteed to feed those starving thoughts looking for an answer to questions it has yet formed to ask, and ready to communicate, exclaim, the inherent beauty of our history as a people, the TRUTH, and culture, freedom, arts, entertainment, law, research, good, bad, and ugly that faces our society, along with the sunrise and sunset of each coming day, and seek to find the inner and best and good you, you know you are supposed to be, so that you may live peacefully in this God given life, then Enter please…

Biography:

“With God, everything is possible!” is Mrs. Kathryn S. McKinney’s personal faith declaration. The firm belief that there are no impossibilities with God has enabled her to be a success at professional and ministerial endeavors she has embarked upon.

Growing up in the heart of Los Angeles, California and attending Langston University, a Historical Black University in Oklahoma, and later attending Azusa World Ministry Training Institute, in Phoenix, Arizona, has given her a broad prospective of her societal responsibilities. She has been inspired by an array of mentors from Myles Munroe and Maya Angelou, to Xan Lundgold.

Kathryn recognized that her desire to be a servant, coupled with her entrepreneurial spirit could purposefully integrate the world with God’s business! During a 12-year career in nursing, she became the Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities for the City of Glendale in Arizona. During her career, she started Guardian’s Choice Healthcare, a staffing agency that met the healthcare needs of disabled children in the Glendale Unified High School District, the Upward Foundation, MGA Pediatric Home Health, and various healthcare facilities and schools within the state of Arizona.

Kathryn authored the state’s nursing policy and procedure manual for schools that service children with disabilities. She has also pioneered the medical food and supply exchange, which services the low-income disabled children in the metro Phoenix, and Glendale areas.

Kathryn has gone on to diversify her portfolio by establishing Kat and Dodie’s Catering, in which she was employed by General Electric, America’s Baseball Camps, and Bio Source of Arizona.  While she feeds people naturally, she also feeds people spiritually and has created an inspirational section titled, “The Faith Forum” in the Write Up, an urban newspaper circulated throughout Arizona and Las Vegas, Nevada. Writing has proved to be a very effective method of ministry for Mrs. Kathryn S. McKinney, as it has enabled her to reach a diverse and national audience, through national magazines like the Black Atlas and her very own nationally acclaimed The International Black Women of Faith Association when she is the Founder.

Kathryn found a voice and a great joy in writing. She continues to inspire people on her internet blog at www.findyourpurposehere.com. Through personal experience, she knows walking in purpose creates manifold blessings, and she strives to help others find that place of peace and increase.

Her passion for purposeful living prompted the creation of the International Black Women of Faith Association (BWF), Arizona’s largest social network of Black women, in October 2010. As Founder, President and CEO, Kathryn brings awareness to women, by encouraging them to unearth, unveil, and uncover their own personal purpose through the thoughtful expression and exploration of their gifts and talents. Kathryn proposes to cultivate a mindset of moral and social responsibility towards GOD first, our families, communities, and world. She has been charged by God to gather women together online and off to uplift, their spirits through the BWF website and Facebook group pages that serve as a place of encouragement, intercessory prayer, and as an advertising platform for professional black executives of God. She knows that praise, prayer, and the pursuit of purpose, is what it will take to release our communities, our States, Our Nation and our world from bondage!

Kathryn S. McKinney is an anointed woman of GOD highly sought after for strategies in creation, consulting, planning, promotions, and directing of various events.

  1. Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this blog. It’s simple, yet effective.
A lot of times it’s very difficult to get that “perfect balance” between usability and visual appeal. I must say you have done a fantastic job with this. Also, the blog loads very fast for me on Opera. Superb Blog!
